• 摘要: 提出并实验研究外光注入新型垂直腔面发射激光器(VCSEL)产生可调谐微波频率梳的方案。首先介绍实验装置及工作原理,然后通过实验研究分析主激光器的注入光功率、射频信号调制频率、调制幅度以及主激光器调制直流偏置电压对生成微波频率梳信号带宽、峰值功率、平坦度等的影响。实验结果表明,选取合适的参数,可以获得梳线根数为24根、带宽为10.51 GHz、峰值功率为−45.89 dBm的微波频率梳信号。实验结果表明,本文方案提供了一种新型的微波频率梳产生装置,可为微波频率梳的实用化提供参考。

       

      Abstract: In this paper, we propose and experimentally study a scheme for generating tunable microwave frequency combs based on optical injection into a vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL). The scheme employs a novel VCSEL as the pump laser. The experimental setup and working principle are first introduced, and then the influence of the injection light power, RF signal modulation frequency, modulation amplitude, and modulation DC bias voltage of the master laser on the bandwidth, the peak maximum power, and the flatness of the generated microwave frequency comb signal are studied experimentally. The results show that by selecting appropriate parameters, a microwave frequency comb signal with a bandwidth of 10.51 GHz, a peak maximum power of −45.89 dBm, and 24 comb lines can be obtained. The experimental results of this paper can show reference for optimizing the microwave frequency comb system and the practical application of microwave frequency comb.
